Woodman awarded "Prix Les Découvertes" at Maison&Objet in Paris

Woodman's Farringdon Laptop Desk received the "Prix Les Découvertes"  award for the Loft category at the Maison&Objet fair in Paris last week. Designed by Leonhard Pfeifer, the piece was selected by the jury for its sleek design and small footprint.

Conceived for apartments and small living spaces, the desk features a sliding work-top that can be extended, increasing the work area while minimising the footprint.  The desk sits on solid Oak legs with an open shelf for papers. The sliding worktop integrates cable management to accommodate laptops or flat screen monitors, external hard drives and phone chargers.

The jury prize "Prix Les Découvertes" or “the discoveries” is a new award, created to recognise the most impressive new products of the show. Products are selected by a jury of experts of “home fashion” who sift through the different sectors of the whole show, covering every alley in order to find the best.

A simply beautiful desk. The sliding work-top feature makes it easy to use. Does it come in other colors? office furniture nyc
