designers
Ristomatti Ratia, our
leading designer, who worked in Marimekko from 1967 until 1983,
has lived his whole life with design and interiors. He has used
various materials in his designs; glass, plastic, linen, wood,
and silver. His work has been published in most major magazines
and he has designed products for numerous companies worldwide.
The products introduced in this catalogue are some of the many
Ratia products which reflect the personal touch, casual elegance,
and special attention to detail that together create the "Ratia
Lifestyle".

Ivari Männi has
experience in different fields of design - mirrors and glass,
public design, advertising and graphic design, corporate identity,
product and interior design.
Last furniture series were made on aluminum and dacron fiber basics,
currently designs plywood.
His interest in using plywood arrived with the publishing of Martin
Luther's (famous Estonian plywood manufacturer) historical review
on plywood manufacturing and design worldwide.
For Ivari - the current challenge is to find out how many combinations
the multipurpose FlixFlax system will carry out. Right now the
